Food photographer based in the GTA (Greater Toronto Area), Canada.

My food journey started early. I have always loved food since I was young. Having been born in Jakarta, Indonesia, I was immersed in a very diverse culinary world. When I moved to Canada to attend university for Interior Design, that journey continued. I became a restaurant designer. I started cooking and baking for myself, then my husband and son. My family.

When Covid-19 started, I helped a family member established her catering business. I started taking photographs of food and almost instantly, I fell in love with food photography. Food, for me, is an experience, a highlight, and often times, a destination. Capturing images of beautiful food with a camera and the goal of conveying taste and texture through those images to the viewers are goals that, although can be frustrating at times, I find also highly rewarding.

Through food photography, I have had the pleasure to meet many food vendors who are passionate about their creations. I have met people from all walks of life and have the utmost respect for all the entrepreneurs out there who are creating and developing their brands and putting themselves out there. Your passion, dedication, and love for your business is truly inspiring, and I am grateful for being given a chance to capture your creations.
